What we collect
- Account details you give us: email address, name, password (hashed).
- Content you create on SightQuests: sights you save, visited, or add to lists.
- Marketing preference: whether you opted in to occasional emails, and when.
- Technical data: privacy-friendly analytics via Plausible (no cookies, no personal identifiers).
Why we collect it
To run your account, save your sights across devices, send the emails you asked for, and understand which pages people actually read so we can improve the product.
Who we share it with
Only the processors we need to run the service:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — hosting and delivery.
- Resend — transactional and newsletter email.
- Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Most of this is available directly from your account settings. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your account data until you delete your account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — saved sights, visited history, lists, and profile data are removed.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
